Products

Winter Hill Home and Gifts sells a combination of:

Handmade home fragrance products, including candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays
Carefully selected home décor and gift items sourced from trusted wholesalers

Due to the handmade nature of some products, slight variations in colour, appearance, finish, and fragrance may occur. Product images are for illustration purposes and may vary slightly from the final item.

All products should be used in accordance with the safety instructions provided.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

We reserve the right to amend prices or discontinue products at any time without notice.

Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched or collected.

Orders

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

Winter Hill Home and Gifts reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders where necessary, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or product unavailability.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been made, a full refund will be issued.

Delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 3–5 working days via Evri.

Free collection is available from our Horwich base. Local delivery is available to selected postcode areas including:
BL6, BL5, BL1, BL7, PR6, PR7, and WN2.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may occasionally vary due to postal delays or circumstances outside of our control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details provided are correct at the time of ordering.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their goods.

Photographs if the item is damaged or faulty

Returned items must be:

Unused
In their original packaging where possible
Returned within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

For hygiene and safety reasons, used candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays cannot be returned unless faulty.

Refunds will be processed once returned items have been received and inspected. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the issue.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Product Safety & Allergens

Customers must follow all safety instructions provided with candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays.

Products may contain fragrance allergens which could cause allergic reactions. Full allergen and safety information is available on request and should be read before use.

Winter Hill Home and Gifts cannot accept responsibility for damage or injury caused by misuse, improper storage, or failure to follow safety guidance.

Privacy

Customer information is used only for processing orders, customer service, and business administration purposes.

Personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil orders or where required by law.
