Welcome to Winter Hill Home and Gifts — a thoughtfully curated collection of beautiful home décor, luxury home fragrances, and handcrafted gifts inspired by the countryside surrounding Winter Hill in Bolton.

Winter Hill Home and Gifts grew from my passion for home décor, luxury scents, and the joy of finding special pieces that make a house feel like home. Following the loss of both of my parents, and with my little puppy Tilly by my side, I decided to take a leap, change careers, and finally turn my long-held dream into a reality.

Alongside carefully selected home décor and gift items, I hand-pour candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays using premium fragrance oils chosen to reflect the beauty and calm of the local countryside. I also create handmade clay trinkets — a hobby that has grown into a much-loved part of the business.

As a local, family-run business, personal connection is incredibly important to me. Although Winter Hill is primarily online, I love attending local markets and meeting customers face to face whenever possible. I’m also passionate about supporting and collaborating with other local businesses in Horwich and the surrounding areas, and love being part of such a welcoming local community. I offer free collection from my Horwich base, alongside local delivery to addresses in a 6 mile radius of my base in BL6.

Sustainability is at the heart of what I do. From avoiding unnecessary plastic packaging to offering refills on home fragrances, I’m always looking for thoughtful ways to make Winter Hill as eco-friendly as possible.
